Dear Visitor,

People in the West and in the Muslim world often face great difficulties in understanding one another. On account of this, there is a growing threat of what some call a “conflict of civilizations”. This is a grave situation that threatens political stability worldwide and casts a dark shadow over the future of humanity.

Islam Daily has been established to address this matter. We seek to bridge the gap in understanding that exists between our two cultures. Our objective is to promote understanding, tolerance, and a foundation for peaceful coexistence.

We are in the process of compiling a series of written works on different topics wherein misunderstanding between our two cultures is often very acute. We would value your input and assistance in this matter. We would like your suggestions on what topics should be discussed and what particular issues need to be addressed.

We would also value your observations on where similar efforts in the past have proven wanting.

We recognize that we need to do a lot of work from our side and that a lot needs to be done by the West as well. We hope that we will be able to work together for the sake of our world and our future.
