After 20 years of helping millions of poor people around the world, a city based charity is planning a glittering evening of live entertainment.
Islamic Relief, based in Digbeth, employs hundreds of people around the world and last year raised over £30 million, helping it to send aid to the poorest parts of the globe.
Now the charity is planning a night of entertainment to celebrate its achievements and some of the Muslim world's biggest performers will be on show.
And the charity is hoping all of Birmingham's communities will turn out for the event and support and celebrate the work it does.
Adil Jafferi, spokesperson for the charity, said: "It's a celebration of 20 years of work.
"We started off 20 years ago with a 20p donation and last year we raised £30 million.
"This concert is is to show people what the Muslim community is capable of."
Performing at the event will be US rappers Native Deen, Zain Bhika from South Africa and one of the Arab world's most popular singers Imad Rami. The evening will also feature satirical comedy by Ahmed Ahmed.
Mr Jaffery said: "These are some of the biggest names in the Muslim world and we hope it will be a great night."
Despite being one of the UK's biggest charities Islamic Relief have resisted the temptation to move their international headquarters out of Birmingham.
The event will take place at the Aston Villa Leisure Centre tomorrow.
